MDS coordinator

I was wondering is there any LVN who are MDS coordinator out there? If so, any feedback on how it is? I was looking into getting the certificate and getting a position for a MDS coordinator. My background is mostly homehealth; I've been doing the care plans for homehealth for about 8 years. I'm familiar with OASIS, doing raps, Quality Assurance and some coding. I know being a MDS coordinator has really big responsibilities; any feedback would be great!

In my area as well LPNs can work in MDS.

We have an MDS team of LPN's,the dept head is an RN.I don't believe any of them have received any type of certification. It's not an easy position to find in my area, good luck with your search.
