MDC FALL 2022

I don't see a post stated for the nursing program for fall 2022.  Who all will be applying in fall, and will it be full-time, part-time?  Did you take your TEAS?

A system they use to track your vaccines and other requirements once you are accepted. There is a deadline to complete all the requirements (beginning of July).

Also drug screen, background check, CPR, covid vaccines if any (not mandatory), and a drs signed off form.

Yes I will need to take once I get my BSN but I plan on getting my asn and then taking the NCLEX then getting the BSN after

What other classes have you taken in preparation for BSN?  I'm planning to do the same (ASN then BSN).

Oh OK. So I’m hoping they start sending out more acceptance letters. This is nerve wrecking,

thanks

Have you applied?

If you have good luck. They are probably waiting for final Spring grades to come in next week.

Hello,

I already submitted my application for FT and PT and spoke to an advisor who said they're actually starting early this year and accepting people already.

I have a 3.3 GPA with a 74% on the TEAS, so I hope everything goes out smoothly

I'm sure you will get in.  When did you finish your prerequisites?

I actually finished mine back at Palm Beach State when I got my AA back in Summer 2021

The other classes I have taken are MCB lab, psychology, statistics, and I’m finishing nutrition now. I have a Bachelor’s in another field and was also considering an accelerated BSN at other schools, those are the classes most of them require.

Hi guys quick question I finished taking my TEAS this morning and my classes end this week I was getting ready to apply however an advisor told me I may not be able to get in due to missing the requirement of taking HSC003 and its lab. Is this true? can someone lmk im so confused

How did you do on the TEAS? Call again? I took mines this semester but I think you can take it during the Summer

I didn't have time to study so I winged it and got a 70% so im hoping ill be okay, my GPA is 3.8 and I have a b.s. in bio so im hoping that helps balance. she told me the Summer semester is closed already but I think I found online said I can waive it if I have a CPR card

Yes I think 70 is good. You’ll be fine. Summer is closed? I thought registration was opened? You should call again, I know some ppl taking it in the Summer. Maybe for Summer A but there’s another mini term after that

I was accepted without the HSC course and I submitted a waiver for it based on previously taken equivalent courses. They reached out to ask me for my CPR/BLS card.
