MDC Accelerated Program

i'm planning to apply to mdc's accelerated nursing program for fall 2009. i just wanted to know if anyone is currently in the prgoram, or has graduated from it already and can provide me with some insight into the prgoram. specifically i'd like to know about the program's level of difficulty, the schedule with classes and clinicals, how thorough the program is, if any scholarship opportunities exist, etc. how succesful are students with the accelerated option? doing well in this program is imperative for me as i plan to get an advanved degree in an extremely competitive area, and a siginificant deciding factor in whether or not i have a shot of acceptance is how well i do in nursing school. is it possible to get all a's in mdc's accelerated program? any information would be helpful and very much appreciated. thanks!

no you didn't call me a boy . i just wanted to let you know. Yes that is accurate it has always been 50 spots since i spoke to an advisor in march and 2 weeks ago when i went in person the advisor told me they accept 50 people or even 52, but it's 50 for this class. ; )

:yeah:Just received my acceptance packages (yes, big yellow envelopes) to both the Generic and Acclerated program! I thought I wouldn't hear from them until the end of the month, so this is good!

Congrates to those who have also been accepted, and we're keeping our fingers crossed for those who haven't received word yet.

Got my acceptance letter as well. I am so blessed. CONGRADS to everyone.

Congrats guys ! No acceptance or rejection letter yet...sigh...

I was also told that it was a 3.8 by the counselors. It was 3.6 the previous semester. I guess its good that I did not apply this semester. I am hopeing that it will go down by next semester.

Yeah i was told about the 3.8GPA as well. However I had a bit lower GPA than that and got accepted.

Where you on the alternate list? How much lower?....by a few points? You do not have to give exacts, but I am just curious because my sister told me to never go by the number they give you because she got accepeted at a different school with a lower GPA.
