MCPHS Fall 2019 ABSN Program

Congratulations on your acceptance. How long did it take for you to hear back and what did you pre reqs look like and gpa ??

Thanks! It took less than a week after all of the required elements of the application were sent in. My undergrad GPA was 3.4, Master's GPA 3.6 and my Pre-Req GPA 4.0.

Hello! I've also been accepted! Where else has everyone applied? Currently I am torn between MCPHS and MGH IHP mainly because of location. Im wondering if MGH IHP's location in Boston and former affiliation with MGH means that students are more likely to be placed in clinicals in the bigger Boston hospitals. Does anyone know anything about the MCPHS clinicals or have any information to help compare the two programs aside from cost?

I suspect that MCPHS both have similar clinicals. When it comes down to it I'm going to choose the one with the better financial aid.

I believe that MCPHS has similar clinicals, I have spoken to a few people who ended up at BWH, BCH, etc.

I do know that MCPHS has everyone grouped together, so we would all be in the same classes, same labs, working together.

Does anyone have any more details on tuition? I found the cost for the Worcester/Manchester campuses for ABSN but wasn't sure if it's the same cost for Boston.

$64,200 ($47,200 for first combined fall, spring and summer semester + $17,000 for final fall semester)

I spoke with the student financial services and they said that it will likely increase by 3-5%.

I was just accepted today! I haven't heard back from any other schools, so I'll bide my time until financial aid/admissions come back but I'm so excited to be on my way to nursing!

Made this account just to comment. I got into the Boston program on Friday and just made my deposit tonight! I'm pretty happy with the financial aid I got too. I requested to be added to the facebook group too.
