I just switched to Mayo. So far - it seems too good to be true. Very in-depth orientation, amazing facilities and tools, very nice people. And unbelievable benefits. Give it shot...

I attended the open house and was very impressed with their dedication to the new grad. Can you tell me anything about their interview process? Is it one on one or a panel interview? Also, do they ask situational questions or just standard interview questions? Thank you for any info you can provide!

I would absolutely LOVE to work there. Does anyone know what the best way to go about applying for the new grad program? I am from out of state, so I'm not sure what the process is.

The application is online. Just go to the website... mayoclinic.org and click the job link. Then apply for the "RN New Grad" job. Good luck!

Thanks, I hope I can work there someday. One thing that I noticed is that the website says there are 2 starting dates for new grads, the last one being June 6, 2008. Do they have dates published for 2009? Good luck to everyone!

Mzthang581..You just got hired, but they just posted the opening for the new grad program Oct 6th; Did you already work there?? How soon after your interview did you find out you were hired?? When does the program start (not June...)there must be one sooner for 2009. And GOOD LUCK!!!

I externed there over the summer and they posted the job opening internally first thats why I already interviewed. I found out 3 days after the interview that I got the job. The first day of orientation/training is Janurary 6th.
