Marymount Fall 2010

Is anyone applying to the Marymount University (Arlington, VA) 16 month accelerated BSN program for Fall 2010? I'd love to meet other students!

Hey all,

I've just received my acceptance package from MU this morning!

Good luck everyone!

Hi everyone,

I also got my acceptance letter from Marymount a couple of days ago! I'm waiting to hear back from a couple more schools as well, but I'm most likely going to be attending Marymount this fall, and I'd really like to get to know other students! facebook group anyone?

Facebook group sounds awesome! :)

Hey all,

I just got my acceptance package today! I'm so excited. I live in Florida so Virginia is going to be a huge change but I'm looking forward to it! I think a facebook group would be great. Whoever creates it let us know! I'd love to get to know you all :-)

good luck to everyone!

Jaclyn

I started a facebook group called Marymount Nursing - Fall 2010 since I assumed nobody else had yet!

Join! :)

I STILL haven't heard back! I'm becoming antsy/nervous..I'm trying to rationalize with myself whether they would send out the yesses or nos first...I called the admissions office and they said that a) they had a record number of applicants and b) there was a giant snowstorm so the notification date has been pushed back to the end of the month. But many of you have heard back! Very confused, very nervous...very antsy to receive a large envelope in my mailbox.

Hey Erin im having trouble finding the facebook group. it dosent come up when i type the name in the search bar...?

metrogirl - i haven't heard back either & i received a postcard saying i was exempt from the teas exam, had all my docs, yada yada. i think my application might have arrived a little later than i thought due to the snow storm. i don't want to call and annoy anyone who might put a 'thumbs down' on my app for not being patient... ehh!!!

i did get into shenandoah and got a scholarship there. is anyone else deciding between other programs and shenandoah? i live in arlington.. right on wilson blvd so 1 block from the metro if i ever needed to use it. i am really hoping for marymount, mainly bc i hate driving.

this process has made me so impatient!

Jaclyn I'm not sure why it wouldn't show up...! Everything is open to the public... It's listed as a student group/social group if that helps at all

I haven't heard anything yet either. Submitted all the documents, passed the TEAS. Now waiting. I DID get accepted to Catholic University yesterday though :)))

Hi guys! I am in the same boat as you... I really hope I get into Marymount and the anticipation is killing me! I also called and they said they were having delays and I would hear back at the end of March. I turned in my application around Jan 15. Has anyone heard of not getting in?

For those of you who haven't heard back yet..have you tried emailing an admissions counselor? their email addresses and which students they cover are listed on the website. It may be helpful to contact your specific counselor.
