I got told I'd never make it in nursing school. My first semester teacher threatened to flunk me. It fuelled my fire and made me work harder. Everything happens for a reason. It made me tougher.

I took some difficult classes this term (Spanish, Anthro, algebra, clinical nutrition) but my most challenging was speech. It's a rough class... Don't lose hope!

I was rejected once from admission... absolutely crushed me mentally. However, I didn't see myself doing anything else career wise.. so I manned up... spend some $ on courses, improved my grades and got in the second time. Don't give up.. if I can do it, you can too. You just have to find the motivation within you... a self fulfilment in which goes deeper than just "I'm going to nursing school just for $ and job security".. but for a strong inner passion for helping people and human body. That is what got me over the hump.

Speech is a tough class, and it can be challenging if you get nervous about having an audience. You will be ready for it next time around!

Forgot to come back and update this thread - I was reaccepted at the end of February, and my semester was officially over yesterday and I replaced my D- in speech with an A! Yay!!
