I did my MIIS immunization surveys (pre-k through survey monkey, Kinder through MIIS, if I recall correctly), I did not see an option to submit BMI information...

I did not see an option for BMI data submission on MIIS (which is a nightmare quite frankly ?). Submitted my K survey through MIIS, PK through survey monkey. I don't typically submit my BMI data for our district until closer to the end of the school year.

Those interested - I called and got a much better short way submit immunization data on the MIIS survey. They really only need you to the survey part with the numbers. Once I was told that, it was SO MUCH easier.

Re: BMI - the survey link moved off survey monkey two years ago. I have gotten the link usually in February via email in the past; haven't received it yet this year.

Also, I kinda hate that we still have to do BMI data, but that is a different thread...

Yes! Thru MIIS it is very easy to do! We had to do it before December 1 though.

ALSO, I totally agree with JenTheSchoolRN about the BMI data....in our district we dont do anything with the data except report it to the state, we dont send out letters or anything. I dont submit this data until the end of year when we have to do the "big report" for the state.

Gatez: I can help you with MIIS if you wish, just message me. It is actually very easy to get a report, IF the doctors office actually enters them!

Thanks everyone. I'll wait for the email this month. I loathe BMI- I do nothing with the data either.
