LSU CARE Program Fall 2018

I am also on the alternate list. I heard we will get a letter by April 25th that says whether we got in or not. (but you can still be called up till the day classes start) I remember her saying that once everyone who was accepted responds, they will revisit the alternate list. In other words there is not a ranked list that they just pick from the top of. I'm starting to wonder if everyone was invited to interview and if everyone that doesn't get in at first is on the alternate list. I haven't heard of anyone being rejected yet.

Does she tell you how you can improve your application to apply again or something more? I guess we will know this week if we got in or not, but I will definitely try to meet with her if I don't get in.

Have anybody heard anything about individuals declining their spot? And I will schedule a meeting to see about applying for next fall as well just in case.

My friend got a call Friday, she was on the waitlist.

I was part of CARE XVI. We had people get calls from the waitlist less than a week before orientation. One of our best people was a last minute from the waitlist.

I was denied I got the letter in the mail today, I'm a little bummed but I'm not giving up just sucks I have to wait another year. But congrats to everyone who got in this semester and best of luck to you!!

Updating to say that the Facebook group name has been changed to "LSU CARE XVIII" in case anyone else who's been accepted comes looking for it!

I am on the waitlist for CARE 2019. Does anyone know how many people from the waitlist normally get a call? Did anyone hear get in that was on the waitlist? I am still hopeful that I will be called!
