LSU CARE Program Fall 2018

Does anyone know what the essay question was last year or what it might be? Getting nervous! Also I heard that we get a tour of the school that day too, does anyone know if the admissions committee is watching us/judging us during that part too?

Last year the essay question was generic. Like why did you pick nursing and not another profession. Not sure on if they're judging us during the tour or not but on the website somewhere I'm pretty sure I saw that for the essay and tour to dress nice. Maybe business casual? Like no T-shirt's and shorts kinda thing. But I'd check on that because I can't remember exactly what it said.

Signed up for the March 15th essay and tour - excited to see our group! Just moved back to Nola (loyola '15), and want to get into CARE more than anything.

btw Thaaaaank you for posting on the essay question idea! I hope our essay question is something similar and relatable to that.

I read on a thread for another class that the essay is basically just to judge our writing skills because they used to get people who were accepted then find out they couldn't write at all. So it sounds like it's pretty easy!

Me too! A little disappointed that we won't find out if we're in until late April though! I'm trying to think about it, but it's not easy! í ½í¸†

I had my final part of admissions to write the essay on March 14. It was not complicated. We will find out something by mid April or latest early May. I hope we all get in! Good luck to everyone who applied!!

Hi does anyone know the earliest we might hear back? Or how long after the essay last year's class had to wait?? Dying over here

They said the board would be meeting April 9th to review all the essays and applicants and decisions would be made by the end of that week. Letters will be mailed and emailed so we will know decision faster with an email. Good luck!! I'm ready to know as well!!
