Updating to say that the Facebook group name has been changed to "LSU CARE XVIII" in case anyone else who's been accepted comes looking for it!

LSU CARE Program Fall 2018
I made a Facebook group-search for "LSU CARE 2020". It's just closed for now, then after we actually start we can change it to secret.

LSU CARE Program Fall 2018
Me too! A little disappointed that we won't find out if we're in until late April though! I'm trying to think about it, but it's not easy! í ½í¸†

LSU CARE Program Fall 2018
I read on a thread for another class that the essay is basically just to judge our writing skills because they used to get people who were accepted then find out they couldn't write at all. So it sounds like it's pretty easy!

LSU CARE Program Fall 2018
I completed the interview last night. It wasn't bad! It took longer than I thought it would though. Thank goodness for retakes, as my kids escaped their grandparents for a minute and barged into the room just as I was in the middle of recording!

LSU CARE Program Fall 2018
I also received my interview invite today! Finally! All that anxiousness for nothing :) I thought it might come after all the Mardi Gras festivities were over. Good luck to all of us!

LSU CARE Program Fall 2018
Hi everyone! I just want to say I'm kind of going crazy waiting to get an interview invite! There was an issue with one of my transcripts (I studied French abroad for a month and didn't think to get a separate transcript for that since it's on my primary official transcript--not to mention it's kind of irrelevant), and even though they ended up saying it was OK, I'm still a little paranoid that it hurt my chances! I think my husband is tired of hearing me whine, so I thought I'd come here and share my anxiety with people who might understand Congrats to those who are already continuing through the process!

LSUHSC or Delgado Charity
Sorry to hijack OP's post, but your post is very encouraging! I'm a mom of 3 (6, 5, and 6 months) and have applied to CARE for this fall. I honestly haven't given too much thought to how it's all going to work, but my oldest two are fortunately in school, I can get affordable daycare for the baby, and my husband teaches high school so he doesn't work crazy hours. I will say I chose CARE based on LSUHSC's reputation and the fact that I'll immediately have a BSN.
