LPN-RN bridge program?

hi. I am starting LPN school on feb.2010. Does anybody know of a LPN-RN program that doesn't require you to work 6 mos or 1 yr before getting accepted in their program? I have looked into RVCC and UCC ( in nj).. and they require that you work this x amount of time first.

actually that's where i am going this feb!:D .Any advice?

I was just wondering where to go after I finish my LPN. Union is another choice but its a lil bit of a drive. Congratulations on being a LPN!!

oh oh first you said 2010 that's why i was confused.....any advise?.....i would say follow the teachers study guides, use the workbooks and the ATI books that comes with your regular books, they help alot. and try really hard in clinical and all ways be prepared for clinical because that will bring up your overall GPA and then you can bridge alot easier. Its alot of hard work but I still worked part time and still had time for my friends and stuff....its not that bad!! you will be fine its alot harder for the people that have been out of school for a long time and kids and stuff...your young you will be fine....good luck!! and dont worry about RN school til you get threw this!

i meant im starting in feb 09 and finishing in feb 10'..:yeah::yeah:.

thankyou so much for your advice! really appreciate it.

Did you try excelsior?

OP, you really did throw me off with the Feb 2010. I just finished LPN school and hope to do Excelsior or my local LPN to RN school. You do have to work a year first and I think most of them are like that except EC. Do your best in LPN school.

u dont have to work any X amount of time to get into Essex county college, but that school is a disaster,(partly why im not there)...i did my LPN at UCC and will be returning to complete my RN hopefully it will go well..i heard great things about raritan valley also! good luck!
