hi. I am starting LPN school on feb.2010. Does anybody know of a LPN-RN program that doesn't require you to work 6 mos or 1 yr before getting accepted in their program? I have looked into RVCC and UCC ( in nj).. and they require that you work this x amount of time first.

i just graduated an LPN program and me and all the girls in my class looked...i dont think anywhere around here lets you go to RN with out working first...I wish i knew one too....my teachers didnt know either.....Good luck tho why are you waiting so long to start?
oh really??..thanks for lookin anyway. Application for the fall admission was closed on may..and i applied around june..so i think i just missed it.. where did u go for ur lpn? and where r u planning to take the bridge? Congratulations btw!!
i went to somerset county tech institute in bridgewater...it was a 11 month program i was pretty happy with it...and im probably going to bridge to union county i wanted to go to RV but you have to have a 85 average from LPN school and i just missed it
actually that's where i am going this feb! .Any advice?
I was just wondering where to go after I finish my LPN. Union is another choice but its a lil bit of a drive. Congratulations on being a LPN!!
oh oh first you said 2010 that's why i was confused.....any advise?.....i would say follow the teachers study guides, use the workbooks and the ATI books that comes with your regular books, they help alot. and try really hard in clinical and all ways be prepared for clinical because that will bring up your overall GPA and then you can bridge alot easier. Its alot of hard work but I still worked part time and still had time for my friends and stuff....its not that bad!! you will be fine its alot harder for the people that have been out of school for a long time and kids and stuff...your young you will be fine....good luck!! and dont worry about RN school til you get threw this!
i meant im starting in feb 09 and finishing in feb 10'..:yeah:.
thankyou so much for your advice! really appreciate it.

OP, you really did throw me off with the Feb 2010. I just finished LPN school and hope to do Excelsior or my local LPN to RN school. You do have to work a year first and I think most of them are like that except EC. Do your best in LPN school.
