Low score on Uworld!!!

You still have time to practice and get to know how to tackle nclex like questions with the help of UWorld. Il be retaking in 2 days so hopefully it will for me! But what I do is 20qs-content focus (like started with maternity/peds coz these are my weakest)...read rationale why I got it wrong...il do 3-4 20qs/day so still meet like 75qs/day; then il answer some incorrect type and read rationale as well, doing it slowly but sure enough I understand what's it's asking me....i don't look on the numbers score but on the Rationale of each questions!

Keep doing questions and don't worry about the scores I would say. As long as you understand the rationales and read the answers.

I recommend doing the Kaplan QBanks first then moving onto UWorld. Or you can do what I did: Kaplan QBank when at home and UWorld on the go (using phone app). :-)

Did that help you a lot more? I was thinking about that, but Uworld rationales helped me understand a lot. I can still do some kaplan qs to see where I stand with kaplan.

just wanted to keep everyone posted and looking for positive reinforcement........

I have sad news.....I did not pass my Nclex on the first try.....my Uworld score after completing ALL the questions only went up to 50%.

I also did all the Kaplan Q1-Q7 low was 49% and the highest was 58.9%

Also did the diagnostic test: 58% and readiness test: 60%

I studied for 4 straight weeks...thought it would be enough.....but it did not help me pass, it shut off around 150 questions, went home did the PVT, tried to take my payment, next minute....cried my eyes out.

....now all I can ask.....any advice would help... for my second take....I have a 45 days cooling period until I can take it again. I hate doing it but I have to keep going. I again will study, I don't want to fall off the study phase. Thank you everyone.

aloha_life, stay positive. PVT is a trick. sometimes it works, sometimes not. wait til you get the quick results.
