Hi,
I took a free cna class in 2007, however I was hired by another company and did non health related work from 2007 till now. I would like to go into nursing and would like to know if it's possible for me to go take the exam without retaking the course. I am attempting to call my bon (nj) and no one is answering:mad:

I'm pretty sure that at this point you'll have to retake the course.

That's great that you can take the course for free! I took my certification exam as soon after my classes ended as I could because all of the information was fresh in my mind. Plus I'm a worrier so that cut off my worry time too! :)

I'M glad you can take it again for free! I'd schedule your state exam soon after your class so everything is still fresh in your mind.
Good luck!

Some states allow you to challenge the exam without training. You could see if this is an option in your state
