hi-
well, my friend just took a travel assignment in Fl and she said they are very slow. She already had a VA license and said it took over a month. I dont know if this is your first initial license or if that would even matter...good luck!!
Thank you! I am licensed in OH so I am just trying to get the endorsement. The Florida board of nursing website says that it could take up to 30 days but I was hoping it would be a little sooner than that! Thanks again!

It often takes longer.
They have improved - it was not unusual to take 3-6 months to licensure by endorsement. My understanding is that it improved, in the last 10 years.

I applied for endorsement back in April this year (from AZ), and it just took 3 WEEKS to get my FL RN license. First, I received a letter with my FL RN license #, and then the hard copy.
Good luck,
Thank you! I hope it only takes me 3 weeks!! It's already been 2!! I'm so anxious to get down there! I'm tired of boring old Ohio!!

Mine took about 3 weeks- I am from Arkansas. I was really amazed it was so quick. I'm not sure how it works but I tried to get my application in before may when the schools generally graduate. Good Luck! I've checked on a couple of jobs - the pay doesn't seem to be great in the PCB area
I'm really looking forward to getting this license! I have put in countless applications and had 3 interviews in Ohio and still have no job. I don't even care where I get a job, I just want one! LOL

Mine only took about 3-4 weeks. I did call after about 2 weeks to check on my application.

I have already submitted my online application to Florida board of nursing and had my electronic fingerprints done yesterday. Does anyone know how long it takes them to issue licenses? I am endorsing from another state. The fingerprints were the last thing I needed to complete.

How long did it take for your endorsement?
