Leaving work at work

nurse-sleeping-taking-vitals.jpg.d1ec4083667cd0036b4fba751aebd100.jpg

Nurses sometimes have a hard time separating their work lives from their personal lives. It can interfere with sleep, too. I know I've had dreams about work and actually tried to insert an IV on my pillow. LOL! We all need to be able to create a healthy balance between work and family. Do you have a hard time separating the two? Do you dream about work?

I am sure I dream about work, but I rarely remember my dreams [thank goodness]. I bet there will be some funny responses though from those that do remember their dreams.

I unfortunately have jumped out of bed to run for a bed alarm only to realize that there wasn't one! Annoys my husband because I mess up the comforter/sheet, oh yeah, and I wake him up too.

Ever since I started working in a school, my hubby says I tell him many times during the night "you are fine, now go on back to class". I used to run after those alarms too.

I work from home so it follows me around a bit. I don't have any funny stories either :-/

Now that in itself I find funny. Kind of hard to leave work at work when you live there!
