Lbcc spring 2020

Hey guys! I got onto the alternate list. This was my third time applying but with new grades. The last two times, I applied with all B's in the sciences. I applied this time around with all A's. I saw on LBCC's website that they take 40 applicants and 20 alternates. I'd say I'm pretty fortunate to get onto the alternate list considering there was such a large amount of applicants this round!

Does anybody know if we can find out what number we are on the alternate list or is it all going to be a mystery?

Hi I’m on alternate too they said no number just will choose from the highest GPA so you have a really good chance ! Have you taken your teas ?

Did you give them a call and this is how you found out? And no I have not taken the TEAS yet. Do you know if as alternates, would we take it at the same time as the accepted students? Thanks!

Hey guys! I heard that due to changes in clinical sites, they may have only taken 32 applicants this round and every application round here on out.

Did Marc or Sigrid tell you ? Because I spoke to Sigrid today and she said they only chose 40 out of 600

I heard it at the ADN meeting last week. I believe it was Sigrid talking. Maybe she meant the next application rounds to come.

Oh no ! I hope that is not so ? did she say it was going to be a forsure thing ?

I think it is for sure for the next application round. Hopefully they are able to find more clinical sites for the semesters to come!

Do you mind me asking what was your gpa when applying the 6 times?

To the people who were accepted, did you complete the classes that we required by LBCC to graduate? Like the P.E class and the computer technology that was on the application

I think my GPA overall is 3.5 but my science GPA is 3.0

I haven’t done the Technology course but everything else, yes

Rejected as well! First time applying. But don’t feel bad y’all, it’s completely random. I have everything done to graduate, with a Bachelors, so it’s all random, good luck to everyone accepted.
