Langara Fall 2016!

I know it's a bit early, just wondering if anyone else has applied for the Fall 2016 term? My application was completed at the beginning of this month, fingers crossed.

So far it looks like yes.

Mphan1: My major was Political Science from SFU but now I know who to go to for help with Anatomy and Physiology in the Program. Congratulations!

Hamster84: Lol. I want to start a study group for keeners who was to do as well as possible but also make friends and have tons of fun doing. I was kind of a recluse for my fist undergraduate experience and want to do it differently this time around.

Yup, Bachelor of Kinesiology from University of Toronto. Also been accepted to BCIT's BSN program... anyone in the same situation and choosing between programs? :(

Hahaha I was the opposite so this time I want to be more focused and do ALOT better at school but still have fun!:) I guess this is our second chance of redeeming ourselves. I love the study group idea!

That's awesome leefion! Which are you leaning more towards? I didn't apply to BCIT because it doesn't offer the ESN program and that was really important to me but you can start specializing at BCIT and that's pretty awesome. Sounds like a difficult decision but better than no decision ;)

For those who got in. Where are u guys planning to get your cpr and first aid done. I know we have a few months just want to do it asap.

Has anyone called and asked about the GPA cutoff? By now they should have an idea of what it is :S the wait is agonizing!

BCIT does not offer the ESN program, but my friend who is currently enrolled told me that you are paid for your preceptorship.

Hi Hamster84,

I'm leaning towards BCIT because of the ability to specialize. But having said that, I still haven't made my decision yet!

AHHHH. I can't believe how high the average to get in is now. And the next intakes don't have the two electives so thats going to be so difficult.

I finished my application last month with a 3.6 GPA. it's my second time applying (I applied for jan 2016 and got wait listed). Fingers crossed everybody good luck!!

What GPA were you wait listed with if you don't mind me asking?
