Langara Fall 2016!

I know it's a bit early, just wondering if anyone else has applied for the Fall 2016 term? My application was completed at the beginning of this month, fingers crossed.

For those of you who got accepted, anyone waiting to hear back from bcit or ufv?

Hello! :)

I got accepted to Langara but I am waitlisted for BCIT. I'm not too sure how the two programs compare as I have heard mixed things from friends that go to BCIT and Langara for nursing. What are your thoughts on the programs?

Hi @pri5 congratulations!!

would you mind sharing your GPA?

Hello,

Thank you :) Correct me if I'm wrong, but GPA is calculated based on the courses required for admission right? If so, my GPA was 4.0.

Hello pri5, yes GPA is calculated based on the 5 prerequisite courses. You have a high GPA, so no wonder why you are accepted.

Looking forward to meeting those accepted in September and a friendly reminder to join the Facebook group. Just search for Langara Nursing-Grad August 2019:)

hey all! I just got an offer for this September today and my gpa was 3.60

Hey, Congrats! If it comes down to 3.5, I might be in business. Which would be so great, as I'm currently struggling in A&P II. Do you have a degree, or was your GPA the only deciding factor?

I didn't have a degree but it was my second time applying if that does anything lol. good luck! it's tough but I know you'll get through it.
