BCIT nursing applicant August 2016 intake
Hi miss_josie_r I initially applied for the January 2016 intake and that was my first time applying. I got a notification saying that I have met the requirements to the program but it is currently full and that admissions has put me on the waitlist. I got a call a few days after that saying that I had been accepted into the program. Due to personal issues, I asked if I could defer my offer until August 2016 and they allowed it. I am honestly not sure what my GPA is because I don't know how they calculated it. I did apply with a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from University of Toronto. I had lots of experience working with children and also in a retirement home. Good luck!!!

To ipascu, Nope I wouldn't say that it's difficult. They're similar to questions you get asked in a job interview. I think it's just to get to know you better but then again, I'm not sure if they ask the same questions every year. And no, I didn't use any CRNBC links. I applied for Jan 2016 intake, got shortlisted, waitlisted and then accepted. However, I had to defer my offer due to personal reasons. So yes I have been accepted into the August intake :) looking forward to others getting accepted too!!

Congrats to those who got shortlisted! :) I wrote the questionnaire last year and from what I remember, they were short answer questions such as "describe a situation where you had to show leadership" or "describe a situation where you demonstrated teamwork and collaboration" can't remember the exact questions but I hope that helps!! (also not sure if they use the same questions every year)

BCIT nursing applicant August 2016 intake
Hi Andrea, Yes, I got accepted but that is because I deferred my offer from January 2016 intake. I think applications were due end of February? So it might take a while for them to go through all the applications. Maybe hear back end of March/beginning of April? :)

Langara Fall 2016!
Hi Hamster84, I'm leaning towards BCIT because of the ability to specialize. But having said that, I still haven't made my decision yet!

Yup, Bachelor of Kinesiology from University of Toronto. Also been accepted to BCIT's BSN program... anyone in the same situation and choosing between programs?

Hi all, My status online still says "application is complete". I'm just wondering if anyone else applied to BCIT as well. How do the 2 programs compare? I was more interested in BCIT's program since you can specialize! Good luck everyone :) Fion
