Lab for A&P

I took A&P via Excelsior. Looking to merge into transition LVN to ADN at local college. I am needing to take just the lab for A&P. I live in Texas (don't know if that makes a difference). Has anyone had any luck in where to find just the A&P lab class/course that the college will accept? The local colleges near by do not offer just the lab nor know where to direct me.

Unfortunately, people in your situation have had to retake the entire section of A&P (lecture + lab). I do not know of anyone who has been permitted to just enroll in the lab practical portion by itself.

Hopefully someone will come along to confirm that they've taken just the A&P lab, but I seriously doubt it. Good luck to you.

I live in CA and at the community college level the lab and lecture are together but at some state colleges the lab and lecture are separate and you can choose to take one or the other , or both (our state schools are so impacted students can't get into the lab portion. So are taking lecture/lab at a CC because they are guaranteed both). I know you are in Texas but just to let you know there are lab only classes out there, good luck!

Excelsior offers labs for A&P 1 & 2 now.
