Saw this on my FB feed yesterday:
"Kellogg's is adding peanut flour to some of its products. The products affect Austin and Keebler brand products. The labels on the foods will be modified to reflect the change.
The company says the ingredient will be added to the following products:

Googled this for my own information and came upon this page from the Kellog's website,
Peanut Flour added to sandwich crackers?!
What is crazy, they say they will try to produce a cracker that will be safe for them to eat. WHAT!!! Isn't that what they had before.

So sad for many kids and families that they no longer have safe products to eat. I have been keeping cheese crackers in my clinic for the kiddos who missed breakfast and needed something to hold them over until lunch. Looks like it's going to be the old faithful standby...saltines.

Is there a link to where to company announces this? I would like to put an announcement on my web page.
The only verification I found was the response to to the comment of the link I posted earlier. There is one other post that addresses the snack cracker issue. When I googled it there was a lot of on-line petitions to get them to change it back. I don't think they made a formal announcement. This was the first I heard of it.

Thanks for the link!
I found this site that within their story they quote the news releases from Kellogg.

Indeed, Kellogg's quietly announced that they are introducing peanut flour into a number of Keebler and Austin cracker varieties that were previously considered "safe" from peanuts. We urge you to avoid ALL Keebler cracker varieties given the change may introduce peanut cross-contact to other crackers manufactured in shared lines/facilities. PLEASE BE SURE TO NOTIFY THE PARENTS OF STUDENTS WITH FOOD ALLERGIES AS THEY MAY HAVE NO IDEA OF KELLOGG'S PENDING ACTION!
Here are resources to help you:
This is a dangerous precedence for Kellogg's to set, and we do not know if this is a prelude to the company introducing peanuts into more of their product line. We encourage you to sign and share the petition with your colleagues as there is little doubt that there WILL be students who suffer anaphylaxis as a result of Kellogg's decision!
