just want to ask. is the Q&A of Kaplan are the same with the NCLEX?
i did the Kaplan and it was quite hard compared to the Saunders coz it's mostly knowledge based. Can you suggest other review sites that gives free Q&A. i have no time to do hurst or whatsoever coz im gonna take my exam on 2weeks from now.

I believe this post is in the wrong place. Saunders is good for comprehensive reviews but questions like the ones in Saunders are not the kind of questions you will see on the NCLEX. Kaplan's questions are very similar as well as ExamCram (which is made by Pearson). ExamCram also comes with a CD in the back and you can take mock NCLEX's and it'll give you a grade of very below, below, average, above average, and excellent. Average or better means likely to pass.
Edit: Also, Kaplan has a strategy book that teaches you about the NCLEX, what type of questions are on it, how to break down questions, etc. If that isn't the book you have, I highly recommend it.

Thank you. I guess its a little too late for me to do Exam Cram, i guess i would literally cram until the day of my exam if I took this one. I'm just nervous and want to make sure I did right in terms of my studying for my exam.
ExamCram is just a book. Not a course. Just buy it, read the topical reviews, and take the tests on the CD. I used it the last two weeks and it helped a lot

I found Kaplan's strength to be in their method the "Kaplan decision tree' or whatever they call it. It works.
I did not take their course, I just bought their book and went though it carefully. My exam went well - ended in the minimum number of questions. So, I would highly recommend Kaplan.

I took the Kaplan course and thought it was well worth the money! The questions teach you HOW to THINK.. It's all about reading into the question and finding the best answer, which is the same strategy that the NCLEX uses. Kaplan taught me an entirely new way to think and read into a question... It's not so much about facts and diseases and such on the NCLEX- they know we know that, we've been through years of nursing school!- It's all about APPLYING that knowledge and prioritization techniques.. Kaplan definitely showed me how to do that. Even if you can't take the class, buy the book!

Honestly,
Kaplan worked for me. And I used EVERYTHING that came with the complete course..... including content videos, questions, q-trainers....
and I passed first time 75Q
I read in another forum that one woman said that "weight watchers" did not work for her.... but so many people lose weight with weight watchers.. so I think its the amount of work that you put in it!

You should be winding down on your preparation. If you do not feel ready, you might want to consider rescheduling. Trying to choose between study resources should have been done at the beginning of your prep. Two weeks out is cutting it short, no matter what you use. Good luck with your upcoming test.
Thanks. I did Kaplan and yep, it really helped me to think a lot. I'm just finishing my Saunders Cd which has easy questions, more on knowledge best.:)
I read and re-read the Kaplan book 3 times and really wish that I would pass.
