What are people's thoughts on this book? Its currently waiting for me at home (I just bought it) and I understand there is a comprehensive exam on the CD? What were your scores in relation to pass/failing NCLEX?
Did anyone find the strategies helpful?

I have the book and I study some of it the first time around but I didn't really apply it. Needless to say I failed the first time. When I got my results back, I took the cd and took the test and the scores I got were exactly the same that I got on boards. I don't know if it was a coincidence or not.
Good luck to you!

I bought the Kaplan-PN (2010). Has anyone used this for review?

I used the Kaplan strategies book and Saunders Comprehensive. I highly recommend the Kaplan strategiesbook. I read it a couple of times and took the c.d. exam. My scores were in the high 60's. I passed the NCLEX on the first try. I used the Saunders to study my weak areas.
Someone posted this link here and it's great. I used this at work during my lunch breaks. http://198.146.4.5/nclexrn3500/mainMenu.do;jsessionid=0563995026B1B6896C0BB78BAD3067E9 It's the NCLEX 3500.
Good luck!

I once looked at an order version of the strategies book and thought it would be somewhat helpful. Think the course would be more helpful.

I used the strategies book- found it to be very helpful and the Saunder's 4th edition. Passed NCLEX-RN first time around. I wish you well on your studying. Best wishes!!!!!:wink2:
