Kaplan Scores

I have been doing Kaplan for about a month and I take NCLEX Friday (EEK!)

I took QT 7 and I got a 63% (you're supposed to try and get a 60%) and I have finished almost all the Qbank and have an average of 67% and you're supposed to aim for 65%.

Im kind of concerned that I am only a tiny bit above what you're supposed to be getting...

For everyone who have had experience with kaplan what were your scores and did you pass or fail?

Thank you!

-Hannah

My scores were mainly in the 50's passed first try wih 75q - you will do just fine :-)

I take NCLEX Friday as well and I'm freaking out. I finished QT7 today and got a 58% but for QT6 I got a 63%. I think as long as you keep doing questions and doing rationales. Hopefully we pass!!!!!

I passed. I wish you luck on NCLEX.

Q4 - 55%

Q5 - 57%

Q6 - 62%

Q7 - 56%

Readiness test taken after Kaplan Anywhere class was a 66%

Sample Test1 - 76%

Sample Test2 - 56%

Sample Test3 - 80%

QBank (tests range from 50-60 questions each) and my exam scores were ranging from 56% to 74%. I would say my average would be in the mid 60s. I only had like 45 questions left in the Qbank before I took my NCLEX.

I hope this helps.

Hannah, your results are good. The scores they recommend already have a buffer built in since on nclex you only need to get 50% correct. Good luck, you are in good shape!

Good luck on your exam tomorrow! And like most people said, try to relax because the nclex questions are a lot less confusing than kaplan questions. (At least based on my experiece when i tried the free kaplan mini Qbank app because that was the only kaplan i could afford lol)

Hey Mongy! I haven't taken my NCLEX yet (taking it next Friday), but I've finished the entire Kaplan QBank and I'm almost done with all of the Kaplan QTrainers. Thank goodness it isn't just me who thinks the Kaplan questions are worded so weirdly! If you say the NCLEX is much more straight forward than Kaplan, then I will absolutely take your word for it! Haha. I'm feeling a bit more relaxed now after reading your reply. Thank you! :)

Good luck Hannah!!! You'll do great! :)

Some of them are worded weird but you should expect that on NCLEX as well.

Also, Kaplan had a lot of typing errors and wrong rationales. :(

Good job on completing all the questions. What was your average?

I left 45 questions in the QBank before I took my exam.

I wish you luck :)

I will expect anything and everything for the NCLEX! Haha. And seriously right? Kaplan had endless typos here and there!

I averaged around 72% for the QBank Questions and I'm working on the QTrainer Q's as we speak. I finished QTrainer 6 yesterday and scored a 67%. :)

AND THANKS SO MUCH! I test next week and I'm a bit nervous for it. But at this point, I know that I've done everything I can to prepare for this exam. I know I just have to stay positive and have some faith in myself.

May I ask how you felt about the NCLEX after taking the exam?

I am sorry that I did not reply to you sooner! (wasn't exactly sure how to reply personally or whatever)

I certainly felt that the NCLEX was challenging. I had many SATA and several questions that you had to put things in order. I had 75 and was only confident on about 5 (which is pretty much the only ones I can remember! it was was all such a blur!)

I know people say most people don't fail with 75 but I was still worried but I DID PASS! I wish you the best and GOOD LUCK!!
