Kaplan coming up in 2 months

I’m scheduled to take Kaplan entrance exam in the end of February.
When I took it last year I only scored 68 and I need 77 to get into the program at the school I’m interested in.
What’s the best way to study?

I especially suck at reading:(:(

I purchased Kaplan’s nursing entrance preparation book but it doesn’t have a lot of practice quizzes.
Any useful online resources anyone can share?

Thank you!!

I found Smart Edition Academy’s online practice tests to be pretty helpful. I also heard the ACT study guide is great for the reading section.

Good luck with your test!

Professionals READ, if your proficiency for reading is that bad, look for a career that functions on pictures....or other ways you get your information that you need to function in an educated role..

When Covid came along, all nursing and medical professionals read: nursing journals, CDC journals, Medical journals such as JAMA, New England Journal of Medicine etc.

You are going to be responsible for a lotta reading in nursing school. Determine the problem now: Are you dyslexic (which you will need to work on before you need to read MD orders), Is English a second language?, do you find reading boring?, difficult to read (words you haven't read/heard before?) etc.

It truly is too bad that you got this far before learning effective strategies to read.

I am taking my Kaplan Entrance exam for the second time.

I have been reviewing a lot of the reading and writing.

Just wondering if anyone can tell me is it the same test/ same questions every time you take the test?

I am so stressed!

I am wondering how your second attempt went I take my second attempt next week and was wondering if there were some of the same questions from the first time.

I had the exact same questions !
And I found some of the questions on quizlet so that helped a lot!!

I got a 89 the second time!

Did you get into the program? I’m thinking about applying to the LPN to BSN program!

Yes I did!
