Took Nclex this morning, stopped at 85. I was a complete wreck. As soon as i walked out the door, i realized immediately atleast five questions i got wrong. They were so basic???? Any whooo, im not quite sure i passed. Does anyone know how they grade/rate the nclex? I know they say stopping at 85 means nothing, but if i failed I must of got quite a few wrong?

I'm not trying to say your feelings are not warrented but.... Relax. Do you know how many of posts concerning this topic are posted expressing the exact same worries? I've learnt from watching this board that most of the people who are worried about their results end up passing. I am years away from the NCLEX so thats all I can offer! :p

good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can totally relate to how you are feeling, I took my test two weeks ago and had the entire 205 questions and just knew I failed. I had myself so worked up that the next day I called my state board of nursing and was asking what to do in case I had failed, the lady felt so bad for me she asked my name and SSN and then told me I passed! I screamed and wooped and ran around my office! Everyone that was in my class has passed the NCLEX so far and the questions have ranged from 85 to the entire 205! Everyone that has taken the NLCEX walks away feeling they did their worse and your feelings are normal. My advice is to you is to relax and don't stress out I am sure you passed. Keep us posted on your results in the mean time, chill out, have fun and think No more tests! :beercuphe

So far I have not read of a single person who stopped at 85 and failed.

My test stopped at 107 questions and I am waiting on my results also. I took my test on Wednesday March 23rd. I am also so nervous and waiting on a response. We do not have quick reults in the state of Alabama so now I am just playing the waiting game. Depending on where you are your state may have quick results. I will keep you posted on whether or not I passed. Like all the posts say we are just going to have to wait and see. Just try to stay positive. I know this is easier said than done but we do not really have a choice at this point. Think happy thoughts. Because the Best is yet to come.

Hey there, if it makes you feel any betterI took my nclex on 3/12 and I had 85 questions on my exam too... I walked out of the building after my exam sat in my car and cried... I only remembered 2 or 3 questions and I looked them up when I got home and I got them wrong... then I was really broken hearted.... then on March 24th I checked the mail and there it was.... I PASSED!! :lol2: I was so excited... so as hard as it sounds... just try and relax... I know that they say there are people that fail at 85, I don't personally know any... so the odds are definitely in your favor... I will praying for you!

Let us know when you pass :wink2:
