  1. I Passed.....thanks for the support. :balloons: :balloons: :balloons: :Melody: :Melody: :Melody:
  2. My daughter has CF....the main reason i got into nursing....But it is very personal, definitely would find it very difficult to work with a CF child.
  3. Took Nclex this morning, stopped at 85. I was a complete wreck. As soon as i walked out the door, i realized immediately atleast five questions i got wrong. They were so basic???? Any whooo, im not quite sure i passed. Does anyone know how they grade/rate the nclex? I know they say stopping at 85 means nothing, but if i failed I must of got quite a few wrong? Advice needed?
  4. There was a student in my nursing class....that was not honest with his past (writing bad checks 5 yrs. ago) to the bon and they would not let him sit for the exam...If he had been honest, i believe he would have his license today. His charges were misdemeanors.
  5. To apply for licensure......the application states >> Have you ever been arrested? Tricky question. Be truthful. Good luck
  6. ha he he he ......great one :rotfl:

Believe me through out your career, you will run into many families such as this one, not even the best of the best is good enough. I personally dislike the ones that take notes on everything.....Please dont be so hard on yourself. In the future there will be plenty of clients who appreciate you. Keep your head up and good luck to you. Kim
  8. [by the time i will take the licensing exam, it would have been 5+ years since i received an under-age driving under the influence (DUI). it was a misdemeanor, with no harm to anyone, and the proper rehabilitation courses were taken promptly with no other trouble with the law since. Have you already been thru school?
  9. On previous threads I have explained my situation....and quite frankly I can explain no more. I really appreciate all the advice I have recieved on my situation. This forum is so cool. For all nurses (esp. Grad Students) with questions on background Info.....being honest is the total way to go. I believe with all my heart what comes around goes around. I have sucessfully completed the nursing program and even received a couple of awards to boot. I am no longer upset or scared about receiving my license. My level I and II background checks have returned clean as a whistle. No....that doesnt change the fact that I did commit a crime (CDS) 7 yrs ago. But as weird as it may sound....I believe if I would have lied.....boom it would have probably showed. So has far as my future as a nurse I do not yet know. But I'm surely gracious for all the well needed advice given to me by all you awesome Nurses. Thanks again, Kim
  10. I'm a bachelor, myself, but I'm told grandchildren can be very handy for figuring out these new-fangled contraptions. Funny!!:rotfl:
  11. Ugh......Thats terrible...I agree you definitely should fight for your rights. Some of the best and wisest people I know are over 50...... Kim
  12. Oh my gosh----shocking:o
  13. Your absolutely right. Chillbains affects circulation and nicotine and cigs can only affect it more do to the vasoconstriction effects.
