I just passed the NET, dispite having NO math skills.:yeah::yeah:Now on 3 Feb I go in for an interview at the LPN school I'm trying to get into. Anyone have any advice on what they are looking for when looking for that perfect student? I"m 52...have been in the military for many years and am retiring. I'm looking for my new career and that's what I will tell them, but didnt' know if anyone had any tips. Any advice is apprciated! :D

Congrats on passing the NET!!! Good job:hpygrp:

thanks 2ndcareerchange. I take it you've been there and changed careers too? Hope it was a good move for you and hopefully, if it's supposed to be, it will happen and be a good move for me. :) thanks again. :)

Just wanted to say CONGRATS :yeah:on passing the net. I will be taking mine in March. I'm bad w/math, I've been studying. I hope I can pass too!

As far as your other question on what to say on interviews....do a search and info will come up.

Congrat!...I am very good with Maths and pass with 100% but Reading comprehension is not good. I am just move here from other country 8 years ago. Anyone tell me how to study ...?lol

Tang,

Go to your local public library and check out Reading Comprehension Success in 20 Minutes a Day, it's by Learning Express. I found this book to be very helpful. You can also purchase this book at Barnes and Nobles bookstore.

I just passed the NET too! I did really well, and only studied for a few nights before the test to brush up on basic math. I went to the testpreview.com website to find a practice test. I wish that I had not purchased the Sectrets of the Net study Guide. Its not a study guide for the net, instead just a general -- how to pass tests guide. Not worth it---don't waste your money.

I studied my math for over 2 months before my NET. I had been out of school for 30 years. I graduate next week from LPN school. :)

Congratulations Maggiesdream....

Guess your dream really came true huh!! :yeah::yeah::yeah:
