Just finished

my last clinical for the semester. I am so happy to be done until Jan! We still will have labs and returns but we are done at the LTC Facility and care maps and nursing journals and patient history sheets for this semester!

Hooray!! A few more weeks here...can't wait! And then one month... one whole blissful month of vacation!

you guys are so lucky, i am on the multisystem PCU until the 18th of december and then i am practicum on the 4th of jan!

lucky! i am almost done, only 2 more clinical days left and i can hardly wait...:)

I've still got 3 weeks (two med-surge, one OR) plus a half day teaching clinical left, including this week. I'll be as happy as you are when I'm finished. What great feeling it must be!

I do have one make up clinical day but it is only 4 hours in the nursing lab doing simulation, it actually sounds like we will learn more skill wise then we did in the nursing home. I learned things in the nursing home, just not so much skills IMO. Took all I had to go yesterday because I have been sick and just felt so out of it but my CI had me be a TA pretty much and not do patient care so it was just a long boring day but better then making up another day.

I am so happy to be done and have a break though, next semester we get thrown into the hospital 3x a week and I am told the CI is very in your face kind of like a Dr House wanna be type guy. So we shall see!.

I shadowed the Med Nurse at the Jail last night for our Multi Cultural project, THAT was interesting!
