Congratulations, I too start at Athens Technical College in January 2010. Well, I was not enrolled in school when I got my acceptance letter, I had all needed courses completed, I was shocked when I got the letter, because I had forgotten I applied(I was pessimistic:scrying: about getting in). And then at orientation we were told we were the smartest class ever admitted, meaning the test scores and/or grades were the highest overall. I thought the letter was about a parking ticket or something until I saw the words "Congratulations". I've already bought a few of my books, since I may have to pay out of pocket for school if I don't get any grants or scholarships:eek:. Good luck to all!!

Congragulations to you too....
I am so excited but so scared because you hear during nursing school you can't have a life outside of studying in order to do well and I like to relax....
I am just so ready to start the program

That might be about right, when I went to orientation, one of the nursing teacher told us to enjoy our family and friends now because in January, we all belong to her (sarcastly). I plan to put my focus entirely on class because I have been struggling for years to get into a nursing program and I don't want to waste the opportunity plus maybe that'll help consider me for the RN program once I apply.

I just got accepted to the LVN program at Austin Community College. So So Happy
:yeah:
I start in Spring Jan 2010
I had been waiting and I finally got the acceptance letter. The bad thing is that I am so excited that I have started to slack on the current Non-nursing classes I'm in... Anybody ever have this problem..
