At the information session they said an iPad or tablet that's applicable with the books and tools they use. I want to get an iPad mini, but I'll see what they say in orientation.

Ok. Yeah I wasnt sure if it was strictly an iPad. But we only have a week and a half until orientation. So I will see you there!

Lol. I know I keep checking my email waiting for something new. They will most likely send it out next Monday. Since their giving everyone until this Friday to reply with thier decisions.

I just got the email with the orientation information. Its a lot to get done before mid-January!! Can't wait until next week!!

Hey Everyone! How's everything coming alone? I'm done with the online background/health process. I just have to buy a few odds and ends now. What type of nursing shoes did you all buy or are going to buy?

I'm almost finished as well. I didn't buy any special nursing shoes. I bought some plain white nikes to wear with my uniform. Has anyone looked into the price of the ebooks? I'm hoping it drops a little.

It would be nice if the price drops and it doesn't make it any easier with it being around the holiday time. I think that I'll just get some sketchers or something as far as the shoes. What type of stethoscope are you getting? I'm getting a littmann. I'm not too happy about the price, but the cheap ones just don't work for me.

Yeah that's what I was thinking about, school starting right after the holidays. But oh well just have to suck it up if it doesn't drop any. As far as the stethoscope, I went ahead and ordered me one off of Amazon. I used it when I got it and it works well.
