Has anyone ever heard of a carbon fiber jackson table actually breaking? We had a heavy patient on one today and it flexed a lot which made me wonder.

Never heard of one breaking. I think the weight limit on our Jackson table is 300#. Don't quote me on that, though.

If you go over the weight limit ony bed, they are subject to about anything happening. The can bow where they should not, and the pieces can break.
When a patient over the wight limit is placed on any bed, the warranty is also gone; it was used for a specific weight that is was not made for.
