Jackson tables

Has anyone ever heard of a carbon fiber jackson table actually breaking? We had a heavy patient on one today and it flexed a lot which made me wonder.

Never heard of one breaking. I think the weight limit on our Jackson table is 300#. Don't quote me on that, though.

Haven't heard of one breaking either.

Bowed a lot, but no break.

Our Jackson's weight limit is 300#

If you go over the weight limit ony bed, they are subject to about anything happening. The can bow where they should not, and the pieces can break.

When a patient over the wight limit is placed on any bed, the warranty is also gone; it was used for a specific weight that is was not made for.

in your or or even on your table it should say the weight If not ask If you are the circulating nurse it is up to you to stop the use of a unsafe product ex. bed the patient is asleep and you are there avicate
