IV Certification in DFW area

I'm an LVN and have worked as an infusion nurse in the past and currently start IV's in my present job but I am not certified. Can you inform me of any facilities/schools in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area that offer IV certification as well as the costs of the program? TIA :D

I know ...I saw your post and someone recommended Omnicare but I couldn't find anything about IV certification or a Dallas location on their website!!!

I've heard that Everest College (Arlington location) is looking to start an IV Certification program. I have a friend that is in their Pharmacy Tech program and she was telling me about it. Sorry, that's all the info I have. Maybe you could try calling the school to see if they have any information on it.

Most, if not all, of the LVNs in the DFW area who obtain their IV therapy certification from Omnicare and APS have been sponsored by their workplace to attend the class.

Every single facility where I've ever been employed has sponsored its LVNs to attend the IV certification class. Perhaps you guys could ask your employers to sponsor you to attend the class. Good luck!

Twice a year in Dallas they do a 2 day course. It is some company that does them all over the country. Try googling IV cert and Dallas.
