I AM AN RN STUDENT. I am so happy. I got the call about five minutes ago. It is so amazing. I am excited and terrified all at once. lol. Who else is going this fall and can we have study groups over the net? I will need all the help I can get. Any seasoned RN's out their that want a student buddy for the next two years? lol. well anyways I have to mail my check off for my CPR class. The best news is I won't be working while I attend school. I will be able to focus on what I need to. My wonderful husband has taken on a second job so that I can do this. I love him so much. Well I better get a move on.

Congrats to you Rhona! Don't worry about having some seasoned RN's at your disposal - we're all here for you!

It's wonderful that you won't have to work. I admire the women that could do it, but it made all the difference in the world to me. Your hubby sounds like a great guy!

Congrats again!

Heather

Congratulations, Rhona! I know you are probably floating on a cloud, somewhere! LOL!

Your hubby sounds like a great guy. That is the kind of support that you can't put a price on.

Like Heather said, we are here to help. As you may have seen in some other posts though, we do expect you to do your own homework and research. That is the absolutely best way to make you a knowledgeable and resourceful nurse. Think of us more as mentors than as study partners.

Good luck! Feel free to PM me any time.

much continued success to you, fellow rn student!

Congrats Rhona!

I just finished my first semester and even though it got stressfull at times, I can honestly say that I learned alot and I enjoyed the experience. I can't wait for the fall. Are you in NYC?

CONGRATULATIONS RHONA! That was awfully sweet of your hubby to take a second job. MAKE sure the two of you spend some time together though. Make a date night and put it on the calendar if you have to. It will save you troubles in the long run. I am not married but several of my classmates were and many of their marriages were in severe trouble because they failed to do that.
