You generally have to pay the BON/BRN to resit and you do have to pay pearsonvue again their $200 or $350 if overseas

They pay the same amount each time they test. I believe it is $200. Why should some one get a discount for not passing and having to re-take? I am suprised the price does not go up after the third, fourth, fifth etc time...

Every time you take the test you have to pay all the associated fees. I would consider myself lucky that testing more than once is even allowed. Good luck.

Fees for licensure as well as the actual exam need to be paid for each time that you sit for the exam. Also be aware that quite a few states actually have limits as to how many times that one can sit for the exam before remedial work is needed or not permitted to test again for that state.

CA for the PN exam is the only state that I know of that does not charge for license processing until the nurse actually passes the exam. For all others, each and every time that you test, you need to pay the fee to them for processing again.

You do have to repay every time you retest. If you're in CA, it's $75 for the BON nursing (application fee) and $200 to PearsonVue for the exam. Good luck!

hi... I have a question.

I am reapplying for NCLEX-RN retake

I just want to clarify about the mode of payment.

According to the retake form

Its either check or money order for payment.

is the check includes personal check?

thanks

If the check is in US dollars then I suppose that would be what they mean. I would go with a bankers draft just to be safe. How did you make your first payment as that would be the indication on how to do it now?
