Sorry for the typo- I cant fix it either! Maybe some kindly Mod will. And no, I haven't been smoking it. I dont believe in recreational MJ smoking

I think that it can be a medicine. It is obviously recreational also. Do I think it should be legal? Sure. I think think the government could make a lot of money off of it. There are side effects from it, as there is with everything, it seems silly to me that drinking is legal but marijuana is not. I would rather deal with someone who had smoked pot than is raging drunk anyday. Just my two cents :)

It could be a medicine.

The majority of its use is not as a medicine and yes that p*sses me off.

I don't know if it's a medicine or not, but don't see any difference between smoking a little and drinking a few beers. I personally don't do either one BUT having lived with people who do both, it's not much difference, other than people who drink too much can get mean, too much dope makes them paranoid. I don't see the big deal myself.

I say if Joe can get a beer at the corner bar, let him get a smoke too. Big deal.

I know I link to this site a LOT but it has such good solid researched information and is easy to read ( I don't always want to read a high power research article on leisure time)

It has some very good information.

I ,too, think it should be legalized zambezi, and we should TAX THE LIVING PISS OUT OF IT TO FUND MENTAL HEALTH TREATMENT MODALITIES!!!!!!

I voted that I think it can be used for medicinal purposes. I also think the government would be wise to legalize and tax it. I don't see too much difference between alcohol and pot for recreational use. Both can be abused. BUT, since it is illegal now, I don't condone the recreational use of it for me or anyone in my family (want to protect my job and license).

Ditto to what kimmicoobug said. I used to smoke wacky tobacky, and probably still would, but the fact remains that it IS illegal and I don't think ANYTHING is worth risking my license for.

Alot of doctors are now usinf "Marinol" for appetite stimulant.

Although I have had pts tell me it is not as good ad the real thisn as far as creating the munchies.

what kimmicoobug said sums it up for me also.

adding..I do think it will be legalized at some point.

It may have medicinal properties for some, but there are better, legal medicines available.

In my opinion it is.

I have seen it work for someone close to me lossing her battle with Breast CA...worked wonders really physiologically and metally. I have no problem w/ it.

Recreationally...well I stand on that fence, yeah I actually think it is less addictive than ETOH, causes less distruction and harm. Driving under the influence is a lot less risky w/ pot than ETOH, in what I have seen. HOWEVER...as far as everyday use...well back to the alcoholic idea...it just doesn't work with real life, can cause lung problems and can be a HUGE demotivator....So for now I will stay on that fence. But I would love to see the gov legalize it for both, could make some good money to help pay for all those familys without access to healthcare and start up some good health programs for this countries children.
