Interpersonal Comm. Course at TCC

Interpersonal communication is listed as a nurse prerec at TCC. Has anyone taken this class? Is Intro to speech better to take?? We have a choice between the two, I'm not sure which one to pick...... :uhoh21:

I think that either would be great. But if Intro to speech is anything like public speaking I think that the Intro to speech would be a good choice I took it last year and it's a good class to take just to be well rounded and also if the oppotunity comes up that you may have to give a speech or its also just helpful to have taken when you get into the field and you have to communicate with many people on different levels. But either should be fine.

If you are planning on getting a BSN in the future, or even think you may decide to, go for the Speech.

I've seen many RN-BSN programs that require Speech.

In our CC the speech is a college transfer course, where the comm isn't.
