  1. Hey ya'll I was just wondering if any of you have heard of Travel Nurses Across America? The benefits, living accommodations and everything seem great. But I'm unsure. I'm new to this so I would like to know and would appreciate any information about Travel Nursing and agencies. http://www.nurse.tv Check it out and let me know what you think!
  2. Hey ya'll! Well I'm new 2 medicine and after my freshman year in college and realizing that I really didn't want to do pharmacy, I decided to try nursing and I think that I will like it. I want to become a CRNA, so I'm going to stick with it and see how it goes. I think nursing will be a great field.
  3. Hey yall! Well I plan on applying to MUSC in Charleston, SC. They have a good BSN and an MSN. The competition is kinda tough they only let in about 30 or so. So next fall that's where I'll try 2 be. If not I'll apply to wherever else that may catch my interest. GOOD LUCK!!! :balloons:
  4. I think that an overall good GDA and good grades in your math and sciences should do you well. Also maybe some references and maybe a summer job at a hospital or nursing home something like that. But I that a good GPA will be great! :)
  5. I think that either would be great. But if Intro to speech is anything like public speaking I think that the Intro to speech would be a good choice I took it last year and it's a good class to take just to be well rounded and also if the oppotunity comes up that you may have to give a speech or its also just helpful to have taken when you get into the field and you have to communicate with many people on different levels. But either should be fine. Good Luck! :balloons:
  6. I was thinking of the same thing after I finish my CNA certificate program. There are a lot of places wanting CNA's. Try hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living, those are just a few if you look in your states newspaper under health professions there are always a lot of places wanting CNA's and the pay is from anywhere between $15-$18 per hour. It may differ state to state but it's a great way to get experience and get paid while doing it and doing something you will grow to love throughout your entire nursing experience. GOOD LUCK 2 YOU!!!! :) :yelclap:
