I have read through the Saunders book and did the many questions..I was wondering, I am focused more on the questions and the rationale..The Saunders book is a lot of information to retain..I was wondering, is it safe to say, if I understand all the questions and the rationale that should be good enough to pass NCLEX?

I hope so, for your sake! :) By understanding the questions, do you mean you get a high percentage of them right before reading the rationales?
Well, I meant, if I understand the whole concept of the question and the rationale..Basically, I am saying if I focus on the questions and the answers and the possbilities..Is that enough?

I think Saunders is much easier than the actual NCLEX, I would consider checking out a Kaplan book or even Mosby to stretch yourself. Your main concern should be the basic knowledge taught by your school. My nclex was pretty inclusive and I felt that I had seen it all in school.

Oh wow, I hope this isn't true. I have been concentrating on two Saunders Nclex books this last week.

Saunders helps to review the content, always pay attention to the rationale whether you got the question right or not.

I thought Saunders (comprehensive) did a really good job of laying down the material for the NCLEX in an organized fashion, although the review questions might not be as complex as real NCLEX questions. (What you have to remember is that both passers and failers tend to get around 50% of the questions correct on the real thing, so it's going to be a hard test.)
One of the real benefits of the Saunders book for me was the actual material that was presented in outline form. If I had simply read the questions and answers, I'm not sure I would have done as well. I'd definitely recommend reading the chapters where you feel especially weak.

I thought Saunders questions were pretty easy as well. I used Saunders, NCLEX 3500, and Mosby's CAT. IMO Mosby's questions were on par with the NCLEX followed by the NCLEX 3500. Like Eric mentioned, I too, think that the actual material of Saunders was awesome.
