Which exam did you take? And when did you take it?
I would rather that you focus on passing your exam right now, if you need help let me know.

I took the NCLEX RN exam......get this....in FEBRUARY of this year! I have been so depressed that I am jsut now getting back in the swing of preparation; I am in a Kaplan class, and it is hard for me to keep up. I am having a difficult time working in a warehouse making close to nothing an hour to support myself. I have a BSN and can't even use it, and it irritates me!
I suggest that you do more studying than that.

Well, I am glad you've finally came to the point where you can face your not passing again.
The BSN is not going anywhere, but you know you can't use it unless you pass the NCLEX.
Study, study, study, study!!!!!!! You owe it to yourself, you've been through too much!
Whether or not it takes a person 1 X or 5 X....never give up!! Good luck, and I hope you pass the second time around.
Many do not pass the first time, and everyone needs to know that. Getting depressed and not going right back to studying only hurts you!
Of course I haven't even been through nursing school yet, but I am determined to pass the NCLEX the first time, or keep taking it until I do.
Don't put your dream off to work in a warehouse until you retire! Good luck.
I am in the Los Angeles area.

How about focusing mostly to studying now and take the next NCLEX and see what happens. Good luck. :)
what more can i do? i am spending a lot of time studying as it is, and i work full time, which is needed in my situation. i have actually cut my hours to 30 per week during this study time. it's not like i am just flaking, you know? i really need support and encouragement if anything. that would be greatly apreciated.

i empathize on what you are going through right now.
i attended a program for NCLEX few weeks ago and the facilitator shared to us that he has a friend who failed the nclex at least five times, i think, from what i can remember. He is working in Beverly Hills for a bigtime employee as a private nurse but you know what, he still has the desire to pass the nclex because he cannot always work as a private nurse. He still has a goal to have a license to practice. He already has a nice home somewhere in LA, two or three luxury cars, nice salary. He may not even want to take the NCLEX anymore coz he is living the life he already wants just working for that employee but still...he wanted to pass the nclex.
now, it made me realize how important to really pass it. it is just a start of a dream to make it all come true... whatever our status in our life right now.
once a nurse will always be a nurse... don't waste it... use it for the greater good.
God bless on your journey, JOURNNEE!!!

I agree with Jessica..focusing more on studying...at least that's what I'm doing right now. I failed my first exam in July and I felt so horrible. Prior to that I had a job, working as a graduate nurse at a hospital nearby...but when I found out I failed, I immediately notified my director of my failure. She offered me a Nurse Tech job for the time being but the problem is she wanted me to work full time..I gave it so much thought...my big concern was if I don't take it I might lose my spot at my work but if I take it I might not be able to concentrate on studying...So, I decided to just quit for now anyways my director said "she will take me back" once I pass..Money is tight for us right now but I know it won't be long for I am commited to passing the NCLEX-RN the next time ( I hope! )...Whatever works for you, go with what your guts say!
