Good Morning, All!
The state of emergency in Washington due to measles got me to thinking - in order for community immunity/"herd immunity to work, 94% of the herd has to be vaccinated/immune to the disease. How do I find out what the rate of vaccination is in my area/county/state?
My school with 615 kids has >97% vaccination rate, btw.

Maybe your local Board of Health can give you county specific information. You can find a map of rates by US state but not smaller counties I don;t think. Here is a link for Massachusetts by county, just for interests sake:

In NH we have to do an immunization survey every year. So the info is at DHHS

Contact whichever state entity gets your vaccine reporting (ours is DSHS but yours may be different).

We have an annual immunization thing for the state of Texas. I only have 3 students out of compliance right now because they are refugees, they are only missing Hep A.
