Hi all,
Excuse this post, as I don't know whether to be excited or nervous. I spoke with an advisor for the program I am applying/applied to and she informed me that I was approved for a change of major into the nursing program. I'm super excited about this, but I don't want to be until I have something in writing, if you know what I mean. She said that they usually did not send letters out to people who have changed their majors to nursing because they are already a student at the school and therefore, there is no need. According to her, I was admitted based on my TEAS and GPA and all I would need to do is sign up for my classes in March to begin in August. This was news to me since I thought that there was a process, including recommendations, etc. Iono. I don't want to rock the boat, but I'm scared to get excited. Maybe I should just wait and see if I get anything in the mail or via email from them before I truly call myself a nursing student. UGH...
