Ideas about purple?

someone I know, but haven't seen for a while has sent email describing having a lingering cold, and now has noticed himself turning purple?

any ideas about why this might be?

Featured Replies

Something that he needs to go and see a doctor about.

Is he holding his breath?

More details needed. Turning purple in his face? Or fingertips? Or lips? Turning purple all over? After coughing? Or bruising?

Your friend needs to seek medical advice from his health care professional. Please encourage him to do this NOW. There is no way a bulletin board advice could possibly help and many ways it could harm.

already went to the hcp

not seeking ADVICE from the bulletin board - just ideas, as I stated in my post

The 'ideas' that would be given would be suggestions on why this might be. Which is similar to medical advice.

Sorry Ginger Sue - even though you state you just want ideas, this is not something we in cyber-land can provide. Please have your friend follow up with their provider. Good luck.
