Oh OK. You quoted me when you responded so I thought you were adreesing me.  I was talking about the  2 exams YourBestGrade but now that you said The Exit Exam. Not sure about that one as I am not there yet. I have not spoken to any of the capstone classmate about that one.

I have heard of the HESI Hints. Hopefully someone else who passed the Exit Exam will chime in.

Sorry about that. I have youbestgrade but did work for me so looking for another alternative, I will probably read the HESI hints. Thank you anyways and good luck.

Thank you.. I did Saunders and EAQ I did 1000 questions from Saunders and 1000 from EAQ before the final exam and with midterm I just did Saunders. Good luck to you too.

Did you just do the 2 exams or did you create the exam to get all the questions?

My classmates here at clinicals have said it worked for them. I used the 2 exams and did not know about the other until someone told me.

I passed Fundamentals and failed Pharm. I was told by classmates here in clinicals to study the HESI book and focus on the HESI Hints. The Saunders book questions are harder than HESI from what I heard so it will help in preparing for the exams. I bought the books new so I can put my codes in Evolve and do the exams in Study and Exam mode. The other thing they used was quizlet questions with rationales.

I wasn't using them like that during class because of all the classwork but I am definitely doing with Pharm and the rest of the program.

The school is reviewing all the exams and HESI now that so many students failed in all classes. They are not preparing us for HESI and students are speaking up about it, not to mentioned the Final being 45%  of your grade is so high compared to all the other schools. They are now reviewing and looking into what is the issue with such a failure percentage.

Some of my classmates have dropped already and was accepted into other programs after 1st semester.

I would love to switch but I can't. With my VA benefits paying for it. It was enough to pay for this program. I gotta stick with it.

Do you know what schools people are able to transfer to ?

Did they take the credits from ICHS or did they have to start over again?

I think starting over but not sure. We had so many fail Pharm and Fund because of the Final being HESI and Professors are not teaching to prepare for HESI. So many in all classes are failing out.

All the finals are HESI and the prof will never teach you how to prepare for HESI its up to the student.

Exactly!! Its crazy. We thought they were going to do better but right now so many of us are not liking it. It could be worse though. I just wish they were more caring towards the students.

And they won't change a thing unless the student complains, and not just one student, they can offer a retake like have done with our cohort but a mass of students need to send an email to them requesting a retake. I remember when I started so many students failed fundamentals finals and profs had to quite.

We are having the same problem in the last semester, out of 162 students only 63 passed the HESI exit exam, the rest have to retake and if one fails then they get a dismissal or retake capstone.

Wow!! That's crazy. Capstone is not even a requirement for a California License as long as you passed the Course. Fund, pharm, med surg 1 and 2 and OB/peds.  Don't know why all the capstone stuff. Thats only for that school. Plus Capstone normally comes within a Bachelor degree or higher.  They have their own type of situation that makes it difficult for students to get through their program.

Luckily I passed Fund but not Pharm. Some failed both in my cohort. So they are entertaining letting Fund Students retake but said 75% of Pharm passed so they not worrying about that course.

That means out of 250+ students 35% failed. Not 5 or 10%. 35% is still an issue.
