Hello! Is there anybody who will be attending International College of Health Sciences (ICHS) in Florida in 2022?

Wow!! That's crazy. Capstone is not even a requirement for a California License as long as you passed the Course. Fund, pharm, med surg 1 and 2 and OB/peds.  Don't know why all the capstone stuff. Thats only for that school. Plus Capstone normally comes within a Bachelor degree or higher.  They have their own type of situation that makes it difficult for students to get through their program.

Luckily I passed Fund but not Pharm. Some failed both in my cohort. So they are entertaining letting Fund Students retake but said 75% of Pharm passed so they not worrying about that course.

That means out of 250+ students 35% failed. Not 5 or 10%. 35% is still an issue.

Capstone is not a requirement for any state in order to sit for NCLEX, and still you can't sit for your exit exam if you fail capstone.

I meant out of 163 student who took exit exam this January only 63 passed.

That is absolutely crazy.

I am here doing clinicals and a couple of folks who finished capstone told me that. I was shocked. Thats a sad number. They make it just about impossible to pass.

They wonder why their reputation is horrible.

That's the reality of the situation, they admit so many students, and only a few will graduate or finish, we started 300 students in my cohort and only around 100 students were able to move forward.

I see that you are a CNA, don't wait until its too late like me to apply for NCLEX PN, the school won't give information about it,  but if you go to the board of nursing of Florida you can find information and the requirements, for taking LVN nuclei as RN student, esp now that you're doing your clinical.

OMG! Really? I will have to look into that. How far do I need to be in the program to apply?

Thank you so much.

How did that school turn out for you?
