ICHS -RN program Florida

I am not sure the Exit Exam is even helping....here are the Board NCLEX results for first time takers:

@londonflo did you attend ICHS? How did you get clinical hours done?

You can't study what hasn't been explained/presented to you. Reading the reviews, this is a program where you are on your one with maybe a textbook. A professional nursing program involves an in-depth study and discussion of complex health problems, looking at concepts such as 'oxygenation' instead of diseases such as COPD, Pneumonia, etc. When you are responsible for someone with a respiratory disorder, do you focus on the disease or their oxygenation status? Professional nursing has really changed its focus...we still have MD orders but as RNs we are more responsible for concepts such as oxygenation, safety, elimination, mobility, tissue integrity, comfort, fluid and electrolytes etc ( and much more). 

I do wish every one the best of luck with this program but I do have reservations about it's NCLEX rates and the cost of the program of the many that fail.  

Hello! I start the program this month… I tested out of fundamentals and pharmacology… so you have any advice? How is the program so far? Any details on clinicals or when and where to get scrubs?

HI trylyons! If you don’t mind me Asking, what is the test based on? Is like the NCLEX for lvn? The test that you took to test out of the fundamentals and pharmacology?
