Right! Good luck to anyone that wants to follow this advice! I have been a Nurse for many years! This program is NOT possible for fulltime employees let alone overtime. Maybe if you are starting off with fundamentals and Pharm but I tested out of those. My class went from 300 to 48!! They have restructured the whole program as of this year. They terminated all of their professors with the exception of two of them and everything is completely different now. We currently have class three days a week for 2 hours at a time and just in one class alone I have 34 assignments due in one week. That’s not including my other classes assignments OR the multiple other things we have to complete or attend. Clinicals are open as of the 19th and even then you will have 12 hour days plus your homework and live class. Next semester will be my last semester and we have already received our schedule. We will have a proctored exam every single week including live lecture every week. All of this does not include the study time that you need for all of your exams that are proctored. They have changed the grading system to where your midterm is worth 30% of your grade, your final is 40% of your grade, and you have two other proctored exams in between those exams that is worth 20% of your grade. So the hours upon hours of homework that you have, is only worth 10% of your grade. You also need to find a time to study for your exams obviously because how much it will impact your grade. If anybody wants to follow the advice that they can work full-time let alone overtime, good luck with wasting your money. I can multitask very well and I can promise you that you cannot work full-time. Even our Medsurg 2 professor who is one of the only ones that did not get terminated even said it will be absolutely impossible. If you think you can skim by on the wo of your seat then you will not last when it comes to Medsurg 2.

I tested out of the first semester so this is my first semester technically. I also received experential credit so my time is way less than a majority of everybody else’s. They no longer offer the experential credit. you must go over and complete a two day check off prior to starting your clinical hours. We have not been able to start clinical hours yet but we will be starting next semester, Which you most likely will too. it’s anywhere from 9-14 days per semester. Not including check offs. so, you need to fly over the day before minimum. You can do it all at once or break up those days throughout your semester.

It’s impossible to work full time in this program. I am finishing Medsurg 1 and psych now. I graduate in January. Trust me, Fulltime work is impossible. you get to make your own schedule for clinicals.

Hello! I am from Northern California and I will be attending ICHS in Florida starting this month… is there anyone else from Northern California? Does anyone have details of the program yet such as scrubs, where to get them, by when, etc. has anyone completed the orientation yet? I passed the APA exam and will be going into Medsurg and Mental health…. Anyone else pass?

I contacted Dwayne in admissions and he immediately emailed me everything and I have been back-and-forth in touch with him. He is my enrollment specialist. You have to call them and get everything set up through admissions. It gives you the option to choose admissions when you call the school number

.I am taking cultural anthropology through the prerequisite course online that they give us. It honestly took me like maybe a week to do all the homework and everything and then I’m scheduled to take my proctored final tomorrow. It’s extremely easy. And the answers are pretty much given to you and it is very detailed. Also, Quizlet helps with everything. I start the program on the 21st. I tested out a fundamentals in pharmacology so I’m going straight into MedSurg and mental health.

. You do have to submit all of your unofficial transcripts to them and then you need to order your official transcripts and have them sent to them. You cannot send in your own official transcripts even if they are sealed.After I submitted all of my required paperwork I actually emailed them the next day and then I called them. Then they told me that it would take a couple days to process. Within the next day I had a phone call letting me know everything else that I needed to do such as transcripts or prerequisites. I have all of my prerequisites done besides anthropology which I use their class for and it took me two weeks max.
