Ice cures all

Yesterday I had a great smile moment. Homeschooler brings kinder to me, kinder had tears.

Kinder: "Jack" accidentally kicked me getting up.

Me: So your feelings got hurt?

Kinder: Uh-huh

Me: Anything else hurt?

Kinder: No.

Me: Would ice help your feelings feel better?

Kinder: Uh-huh.

This made me laugh at out loud in my office. How sweet!

Where does one put that ice? on the heart or head... out of the mouth of babes :)

One time my nephew came in when he was like 5, and said "SISSY TOLD ME STUPID!" and I asked him "Are you okay?". He cries out, "No! My heart hurts now!" and then she came in and told him "You are stupid!" and he said, "STOP YOU'RE HURTING MY HEART!"
