I really believe in Kaplan...

I just found out today that I passed the NCLEX. So far, there has been about 15 of my classmates that all took Kaplans and passed with 75 (including myself). None has failed yet. It seems that the common denominator in all this is Kaplans, and I just felt that the style of the questions were so similar to the NCLEX that it felt like "just another" test I was taking when I was studying so it wasn't intimidating in that sense. I also think it prepared me really well for the subjects the NCLEX tested on.

So for all of you wondering if the cash is worth it... I say YES! Oh, and if you're military, take advantage of the $200 dicount that they offer. Call them and they'll ask you to fax a copy of your military ID and then will charge you accordingly. :-)

Good luck to everyone taking their exams soon!

How did you do on your QBAnk and Question Trainers?

I took Kaplan. It was good. Help me a lot to focus in my area of weakness and look at questions. I take my NCLEX next month.

I didn't do so well on my at all! Lol. My overall Qbank was 60% (I did all of it)

Question trainers: 55%, 53%, 48% (Can you say bawling?!), 56%, 52%, 64%, 62%

So as you can see, I didn't do so hot on them at all, and still passed! Good luck to you!!

Congrats New Nurse!!

Thank you! :-)

Congratulations on passing! I didn't pass after taking Kaplan, but I did think they do a great job of helping you attack the questions. Good luck in your nursing career!

Congratulations !!!

First and foremost, Congratulations . I took Kaplan too and really didn't fell that it helped much. Did you do it online and in person? I felt like I could have bought their book and done just as fine. Four people out of my class took Kaplan because cost was too high. No one seemed to like the class or the way it was arranged. Also not everyone passed. I am wondering if it has to do with the teacher too. What scores did you get on the QBANK? The average scores ranged from 52-63 for most of us. Maybe we are doing something wrong. Thanks for your input in advance. Again, Congrats!

I took kaplan and I was getting the same scores. I didnt pass, but i really think it depends on the person. Im just not a good test taker. I would recommend it though. It helped
